 Andrew Johnson

Andrew Johnson – Chairman of Kumul Telikom Holdings Ltd


Andrew Johnson was appointed Chairman of Kumul Telikom Holdings Limited following a National Executive Council decision of 22nd December 2017; his predecessor being Mahesh Patel.

Andrew Johnson holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. He was a recipient of the Centenary Medal for Services to Australia for the successful implementation of major national projects.

Mr Johnson has held senior executive positions including Managing Director of Orion Satellite Systems, Managing Director of Telstra’s Data and Online Division, CEO of Tenix Defence Systems, Director of Computer Sciences Corporation’s Australia and NZ, Defence and Communications Division and Engineering Director of the RAN Submarine Warfare System Centre.

He is also currently the Managing Partner of the Delta Systems International Group of companies with activities in telecommunications, satellite teleports and maritime projects, and Chairman of the ASX listed SkyFii Ltd, a leading international data analytics company.

Reuben Kautu

Reuben Kautu - Deputy Chairman

Reuben holds a Bachelor degree in Economics (Business) from University of Papua New Guinea and a Master of Business Administration from the Southern Cross University, Australia. He has also participated in the esteemed ExxonMobil Leadership programs in Singapore and Australia. A young Result-Oriented business professional having worked with British Petroleum and Exxon Mobil in various senior capacities including leading the streamlining, restructure and repositioning of Exxon Mobil's downstream business from 2005 to 2008. His success saw him get appointed CEO of the struggling and almost insolvent Telikom PNG’s subsidiary-Kalang Advertising Limited in 2009 and acquired a media agency company (Ad Effects Limited) in 2010. He was then appointed as Chairman of PNG DataCo in March 2014 and then appointed deputy chairman of the merged stated owned telco companies (Telikom, Bemobile and PNG DataCo) i.e. Kumul Telikom Holdings. In 2016 he was also appointed by the WNBPG as chairman of the PNG Games Committee and successfully delivered the PNG Games in 2017.

In management he was known for his strong leadership, commercial and financial skills in managing change and achieving success in organisations he has managed or became part of. A Strong strategic planner, problem solver and persuasive leader, with proven abilities in strategic planning, managing multi streamlined and divestment model projects, improving efficiencies of operations, managing Change, team building and managing business to determine effective process for operations and profitability.

He would like to see that Papua New Guineans enjoy and be empowered through effective, efficient and consistent low cost communications throughout the country with synergies and savings that the new merged state telecommunications entities bring about as well as enrich employees to excel and allow meaning full participation in the success of each of those entities.

Avia Koisen

Avia Koisen - Director

Avia holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Papua New Guinea and a Masters in Law from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia.

She is a professional lawyer practicing in Banking Advice and Finance, General Litigation, Commercial Law, Property Law, Family Law, and Legislation. She is admitted to practice at the National and Supreme Courts of Papua New Guinea.

She currently is the Principal at Koisen Lawyers.

Cedrick Rondoke

Cedric Rondoke - Director

Cedric has been working in the private sector for more than 35 years with over 20 years in executive management level. He has excelled with a Diploma in Frontline Management from the Sunshine Institute of TAFE and is an associate member of the Papua New Guinea Institute of Management.

His strength lies in operational areas as well as HR, cost control, people skills development, team work, systems and processes.

Cedric is currently the Chairman for the Audit & Risk sub Committee and Chairman for PNG Directories which is partly owned by KTH Group.

Kili Tambua2

Kili Tambua - Director

Kili holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of PNG and Divine Word University. He has 23 years of industry experience with Bank South Pacific Limited; from operational management to front line customer service; and leadership experience from branch management to executive management level. Kili’s experience in planning has led him to perform a leading role in establishing 5 main branches and 35 sub branches across PNG.

He has Board level experience with Kokonat Indastri Koporesen; where he was the Board Chairman, PNG Dataco Limited, Cocoa Marketing Board, BSP Rural Limited and also with Not-For-Profit organisations.

Kili is currently employed as Deputy General Manager Business Development with BSP under its Retail Bank strategic business unit.
