Mr. Peter Loko is the Chief Executive Officer of Telikom PNG. Telikom is the leading Telecommunications operator in Papua New Guinea.

Mr. Loko was the head of Sales and Marketing in Telikom until March 2007.

Previously he was the City Manager (CEO) of the Port Moresby City Council (NCDC), Managing Director of Pacific Mobile Communications of Telikom, General Manager of Telikom international Business.

Mr. Loko joined Telikom in December of 1983 and during his time he held various posts. In his other capacities he has been the chairman of the professional engineers registration Board, Chairman of the institution of Engineers of PNG, President of the Pacific Islands Telecommunications association, Asia Pacific representative on the Commonwealth telecommunications organization and INTELSAT, President of the Boroko rotary club and chairman of the Sir Buri Kidu Heart Institute.

He is a fellow of the PNG Institution of Engineers. He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering in 1983. In 1993 he graduated with honors in Telecommunications systems design and Management from the Anglia Polytechnic University.

He is married with 3 children. His interests include golf, guitar and photography.
