Call waiting is available from single line telephones and extensions off PABX's. You can answer or ignore an incoming call while you are on the phone. A tone will be heard to indicate an incoming call. You can decide to answer the second call after putting the first call on hold. After you have finished talking to the second caller, you can return to the first caller.
