Apart from just providing the standard fixed telephone service, Telikom also provides a number of Value Added Services at the customer’s request.

Some of them are:

Reminder Call
 

Reminder Call is available from single line telephones and extensions off PABX’s. Programme your phone to a specific time using the clock format. It can be turned on and off as needed.

When answering a Reminder Call, you will hear a recorded announcement.

* When Reminder Call is turned on you can still make and receive calls.

HOW TO PROGRAM YOUR PHONE

• pick-up phone
• wait for dial tone
• Press star button
• Press code
• Press star button
• Press hour/min
• Press hash button
• Wait for facility confirmation tone
• Put phone down

HOW TO CANEL PROGRAM

• pick-up phone
• wait for dial tone
• Press hash button
• Press code
• Press hash button
• Wait for facility confirmation tone
• Put phone down

 
Call Transfer
 

The ‘Call Transfer’ feature can enable:

1. Your call to be transferred by the called ‘B’ Party
2. You can call the ‘B’ party, place the call on hold and call ‘C’ party and hang up. The two parties ‘B’ and ‘C’ are connected.

PART 1 – TO START CALL TRANSFER

• Pick-up phone
• Wait for dial tone
• Dial required number, ‘B’ party answers
• ‘B’ party press recall or flash and dial ‘C’ party
• ‘C’ party answers and ‘B’ party hangs up
• ‘A’ and ‘C’ party connected

PART 2 – TO START CALL TRANSFER

• Pick-up phone
• Wait for dial tone
• Dial required number, ‘B’ party answers
• Press recall or flash to place ‘B’ party on hold
• Dial ‘C’ party
• When ‘C’ party answers, hang up


 
Hotline Delay
 

Hotline Delay is available from single line telephones and extensions off PABX’s. No need to dial the number.

You simply pre-programme your important number and whenever you want to call that number, just pick up the phone and after 8 seconds, your hotline number will start dialing automatically. 

* You can program only one number at a time.

• press star button
• dial required number
• press hash button
• wait for facility confirmation tone
• put phone down


TO CANCEL PROGRAM

• pick-up phone
• wait for dial tone
• Press hash button
• press code
• wait for facility confirmation
• put down phone

 
Third Party
 

This feature allows you to establish a conference with two other numbers(callers). Three party conference is available from single line telephones and extensions off PABX’s.

*The Three Party Conference can only be available within the local exchange area network.

HOT TO ACTIVATE A CONFERENCE CALL

• pick-up phone
• wait for dial tone
• Press star button
• Press 70
• Press hash button
• Dial required number to talk to ‘B’ party
• Press flash/recall button to get dial tone
• Press star button
• Press 70
• Press hash button
• Dial required number to talk to ‘C’ party
• Press flash/recall button to get dial tone
• Press star button
• Press 70
• Press hash button and you will connect ‘B’ and ‘C’ party for conference


 
Call Waiting
 

Call waiting is available from single line telephones and extensions off PABX’s. You can answer or ignore an incoming call while you are on the phone. A tone will be heard to indicate an incoming call. You can decide to answer the second call after putting the first call on hold. After you have finished talking to the second caller, you can return to the first caller. 

* Call Waiting is accessible in the local call area only

Call Enquiry
 

The Enquiry Call feature simply is putting your first call on hold while you make a second call. You then disconnect the second call, and you are back with the first call. The Enquiry Call is available from single line telephones and extensions off PABX’s

HOW TO CALL – TO SETUP CALL

• pick-up phone
• wait for dial tone
• dial required number
• say “hello” - talk with first person

TO START ENQUIRY CALL

• say “hold please” - talk with first person
• press recall/flash button
• wait for dial tone
• dial required number
• say “hello” - talk with second person

TO DISCONNECT SECOND PERSON

• say “goodbye” - talk with second person
• press recall/flash button
• say “hello” – talk with first person

 
Call Return
 

Call Return is available from single line telephones and extensions off PABX’s. You will be able to retrieve information of the last calling number plus time and date. 

* Important: Call Return will only be available if Call Forwarding No Reply is not activated.

HOW TO ACTIVATE MESSAGE

• Pick-up phone
• Wait for dial tone
• Press star button
• Press code
• Press hash button
• Wait for facility confirmation tone
• Put the phone down
