Telikad Calling Card

Your passport to using any Telikom landline, X’cess phone or Payphone is a Telikad Phone card. This prepaid card allows you to make all the call types (local, National and IDD calls) from any existing landline, Payphone or X’cess phones and you can keep your remaining credits on the card. The telikad prepaid cards are available for customers in the domains of K5, K10, K20, and K50. There are numerous authorized distributors/dealers of Telikad cards in most provincial centers throughout the country.

Some of Telikad prepaid's frequently asked questions

  • How is a call made? Purchase a Telikad from any authorized outlet. Lightly scratch off the silver panel on the Telikad to reveal your 12 digit card number. Dial 123 from any telephone anywhere in PNG and follow voice prompts
  • On what type of handset can calls be made using Telikad cards? Calls can be made from any telephone, except mobiles, from anywhere in PNG. The card, not the person who owns the telephone being used will cover the cost of the call.
  • What destinations can be called using the prepaid service? Telikad prepaid cards can be used to make calls anywhere in PNG to any part of the world.
  • What are the call charges? Call charges are the same as standard telephone chages except for local calls. The peak rate for local calls is 25toea plus VAT per 5 minutes and for off-peak rate is 25toea puls VAT per 10 minutes. The cost for calling 123 to access the prepaid system is free even from a public phone. You will receive a warning when your card balance gets low.
