PRIVLINE (LEASE LINE) SERVICE
The high-speed Broadband Data Service will be replacing the existing Data Network with improved data speeds and service quality for customers in PNG. Three different Services are offered via the Broadband Network:
PrivLine (Lease Line) Service*
Private line service is a digital subscriber loop (DSL) based fixed bandwidth leased line service. Customers will now benefit from increased speed of up to 2MBPS, and also from the inter-operability of the service with their existing IT infrastructure.
The service can be used for:
LAN-to-LAN connection
PBX connection
Point to multi point Data network
Features:
High Speed: Fixed bandwidth
Permanent Bandwidth: Up to 2MBPS speed
Support existing interface: Serial interface–V35, E1
