TELI-NET is Telikom’s Broadband Internet Access service which is offered to customers through three mediums: ADSL Satellite Wireless (coming soon)

(a) ADSL option is most appropriate for customers mainly in urban centres who are within reach of the copper infrastructure. Customers can have access to the broadband internet through a wire line and ADSL modem installed at their premises.

(b) Satellite option is most appropriate for remote areas where Telecommunication infrastructure is not available due to the cost involve. The system uses the Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT) to link up remote customers in PNG to the internet.

(c) Wireless option uses the 802.11 (Wi-Fi) technology to propagate the internet signal in Omni direction orientation. Computers use a wireless modem which connects via a radio signal to a wireless network hub.
Customers with wireless modems can receive the signal and access the internet at Broadband speeds.

TELI-NET ADSL STANDARD*

Teli-Net ADSL Standard Package is offered with five pricing plans to choose from, and they come with a ‘free monthly allowance’ of megabytes. Any access megabytes used above the allowance will be charged. That means you can choose a plan that suits your needs, depending on how much you want to pay, and what sort of things you'll be doing online. The speed is up to 40 times faster than a dial-up connection. The Plans include a modem at no additional cost.
